An endpoint defines the user privileges and host requirements for establishing a database connection. Endpoints are utilized by experiments to run a specified baseline.
For best security practices, we recommend following a least privilege model. The syntax for granting access is provided when you add or edit an endpoint. This must be executed manually to validate the endpoint.
A new endpoint will have a status of New.
For an endpoint to be available for any experiment, it must be confirmed using the "Verify" button.
A verified endpoint will have a status of Verified. An invalid endpoint will have a status of Error.
